Our Green Commitment
Fast Lane Auto Wash utilizes the most modern green building and operational standards available today in the car wash industry. Considerable energy savings are realized through the use of a 97% efficient gas-fired hydronic floor heating system with under slab reflective insulation. The masonry walls are also insulated with a green expandable material that fills all of the cavities. The exterior uses Jame Hardie fiber cement siding, which is a certified green building product.
Major water savings are realized through the use, reuse, and treatment of process water. A European-developed biological water reclamation system produces odorless clear process water for the wash process. There is a 90% water reduction over similar car washes without this type of system. The fresh water used to produce mineral-free, spot-free, or reverse osmosis water used for the final rinse is double passed through the membranes to ensure a lower percentage of rejected product. The rejected water, which is fresh by nature and simply high in mineral, can be used in other wash processes prior to the spot-free final rinse, or for other functions like bay wash down or landscape watering.
It is through these principles that Fast Lane Auto Wash is a Green business and the only one of its kind in the eastern United States. In addition, the wash quality is the finest available so customers are saving their cars and saving our Planet at the same time.
